I dont think Ive ever noticed that. I know lots of beautiful girls who also have very attractive personalities. Girls who may not be described as physically attractive are just as likely to be harsh-minded in my experience...

Well, there is such a thing as fat bird syndorme...usually not developed untill mid-late 30's it becomes a perminant aspect of the personality.

This is usually triggerd by decades of heart break and feeling unatractive, these women become man haters. For the most part, fat, unattractive women devolp the "Cynicall Personality Disorder" (CPD) or, as I have coind the condition, "Fat Bird Syndrome" (FBS).

Before such an event though, you are correct op, in saying ugly women have better personalitys.

This is better know as the "DubGuy Concept" (DGC) that physically unatrractive people are forced to develop an attractive personality to compensate for there physical features. It is a highly advanced eveloutionary tool found only in the Human race, who have the ability to adapt to a situation where, in the wild, they would be considerd "weaker" than the more average in the species to go forward and multiply, thus, strengthing the gene pool. Usually, the weaker gene make-up of a race is gradually eradicated, but in this case, a personality can be forged to form a "Pull A Minger" concept, origionally pointed out in Dr. Peter Fordes, of Stanford University, second paper on "Humans - Destend To All Become Mingers?" 1994 edition.

In an off chance, one can envisage a very rare and special case (conined by George Castanza in "Shallow Hal") of "Ugly Duck Syndrome" (UDS).

This is when a female grew up ugly, was teased or bullied for her freakish and/or obeese features, to the point where her ugly self image became so self-ingraned in her mind, that through nececety to breed, she formed the attractive personality (already alluded to above in the DGC), but as time progressed she became very physically attractive also. She now holds the two forms of attractiveness whilst also seeing herslef as far less attractive than she actually is through years of torment.

Discovering a girl of this disposition is most oppertunistic for the average Joe, who can then go on to "pull" this girl who would, in a normall situation, be completely out of his league, but she will actually be greatful to have him.

This phenominom is know as UBWHCHHOGS (Ugly Bloke With Hot chick Holding Hands On Grafton Street.)

Finally, and in conclusion, it's not what's on the outside that counts, but what's on the inside....unless, of course, you're good looking.

It has been observed in the wild in women of less than 21 so the mid-late 30's mark is a bit off.

There is of course a similar syndrome for men that sets in the mid to late teens.

And not to forget inverse of this. The girl that was pretty when she was 16 and had all the boys chasing her but is now 30something (both in years and stones) with skin like a dried prune from decades of smoking! You get the worst of both worlds with one of these.

Ugly people, provided they know that they're ugly, eventually develop ugly personalities. Any compensatory "soundness" is either only a pretense or is only present before the descent into an ugly personality begins.

What I love about these ugly threads is that no-one dares to come and reveal themselves as ugly by saying they are personally offended by what anyone says about ugly people in the thread. (With the possible exception of Femmy, who took offense, hehe) :

I know a girl who was very large for years. She was the jolly fat girl type. I thought she was sound.
Over the last two years she lost a ridiculous amount of weight. She’s a size 6 now and looks emaciated (I suspect anorexia TBH). The strange thing is her jolly disposition declined in line with her weight. She thinks she looks great now (she looks skeletal) and she acts like a total bitch. She’s also become ridiculously materialistic, spending ostentatiously when she clearly doesn’t have the money. She takes great pleasure in showing people that she’s better than them – better house, better lifestyle, better looking, more money, etc.
At least, she perceives it as better but I’m far from jealous. I am afraid she is going to do some serious damage to herself with her eating disorder and that her lack of financial management will leave her bankrupt or homeless. My gf, who has known her for years, can’t talk to her about her weight or spending…. Because she will assume that my gf is ‘just jealous’!
Anyway scouser.tommy said that ugly people can sometimes develop ugly personalities. What I have outlined is an example of this. She was always an anorexic bitch trapped in an obese person’s body.

There is a fine line though. I know some ladies with equally beautiful bubbly personalities. Neither are beauties in the looks department. In fact without knowing them a 'Man on the street' would not give them a second glance or may say to himself, "He could do better", if he thought we were together.

Thing is one of them I am simply not attracted to in the slightest despite 'loving them to bits'. The other? Well I don't know what it is because facial features wise she could never be considered 'Good Looking'. She has big sticky out ears for one thing. But there is definate truth to the Uglo-Attractive thing. She gets points for her personality obviously and I think it might be her sparkley eyes and her beautiful smile and her lovely skin. Her body is OK. Not fat but defo carrying a few extra pounds. Anyway I get butterflies when I see and talk to her {Sighs}

I guess what I am saying is that even though personality supposedly can make someone appear better looking, subconciously the male brain is still working on a points system. ie Personality definately gets you extra points disproportionate to looks, but in the other girls case this still wasn't enough to get her past 50% in my subconcious cause she got no extra points for skin, eyes, smile etc like the butterflies girl.

I think this thread is nonsense. Thinking of girls at work there are only a couple of bitches and both are mingin'. The best looking girls are actually really nice. Just generally, assholeness doesn't discriminate. Fat birds can be very jealous while others can for some reason be rediculously overconfident or just plain rude or something hard to explain. Meanwhile good looking girls are more likely to lead guys on for the fun of it and the like. I think the OP says bad things about hot girls because they are much likely to reject him!

Outside of soundness, I suppose ugly girls are probably more likely to be funny and confident and bubbly, although good looking girls tend to go crazy when they go out. Angel by day, devil by night kinda thing. I don't know you could go on all day with generalisations.

a friend of mine is going out with an extremely beautiful woman. she comes from a rich family, but refuses to take any money from her father and prefers to make her own way in the world. she drives a 7 year old small car and her brother drives a top of the range merc that his father bought him. she is also great to talk to and not in the least bit snobbish.
