After Saturday night riots the total english fans arrested during germany 2006 is over 600. A total of 4000 have been arrested from all countries, which leaves english slice at over 15% of the total arrests.

This is also considering the fact that 3,500 english fans who they taught might cause trouble were barred from travelling to Germany.

The following quote below from the chairman of the world cup committe in 1994 sums up how many nations view english fans.
England fail to qualify for the World Cup in the US. Chairman of the 1994 World Cup committee Alan Rothenberg says of the lack of England fans at the tournament: "There were three countries in the world whose presence would have created logistical problems.

"So we're very pleased they won't be coming - Iraq, Iran and England."

Its not a coincidence that hooliganism was not a problem at usa 94, action should be taken against England, Poland, Germany this year, who undoubtedly were the most prevelent at this years tournament with England once again been the main culprets.

Im sick of hearing "a small minority" are causing the problem. The small minority being the 3,500 barred from travelling, then how were 600+ more arrested this time. So will 4,100 be barred from travelling next time and undoutebly another couple of hundred will be arrested.

Time to start banning the fans from games or banning the teams from competing. I surely wouldnt miss the presence of these teams at a world cup if i was travelling. I travelled to World Cup 90 as a kid and was not allowed go to the England game simply because it was judged to be too dangerous because of the English fans, how sick is that and if i had a son now i certainly wouldnt bring him either, 16 years later and nothing has changed. You might say thats over reacting but a couple of years later they came to landsdown road and wrecked the place. Imagine kids stuck in the middle of that. Then people wonder why we have a grudge against the English fans and single them out, how many other kids werent allowed to go to the English game in 1990, naturally after this your going to have a bad opinion of the english fans at that young age, and then seeing all the trouble they cause year after year, this sticks with you as you grow up and naturally your going to think im sick of them yobs and verbally bash them.

How many other countries have gone to countless world cups without much incident, how come they can do it but the likes of Germany, England, Holland cant???
