I am a bit of an amateur photo person myself and I have to say they are very good, I like the Helicopter especially. What sort of camera did you use for these shots?

Could you tell me what Air force is the last "bird" attached to? :D

Great shots, very well done.I really like the one with the coloured smoke coming out of the tails of the planes and the helicopter one is great also.

    great photos!
think it was 2 years ago i was in galway and forgot the show was on, wasn't in salthill but saw the red arrows in action, the amount of ground they cover in order to get into the right positions for the display area was unbeleivable! fantastic coordination.

all shots were taken without a Tripod, although Id say the IS was a great help with some of the sharper shots!

    Totally agree.

Oh & Rabbit, I was using a Canon EF70-200mm 1:28 L IS lens. What about you??

It was a 350D with a 17-85mm IS lense, not a great zoom length but the shots were clear enough to get decent crops from!

Agreed! Those are excellent. Wish I could learn how to take such simple ideas and make them look, well look as good as those!
