DNS Problem with monowall

    I recently just installed monowall on a nokia ip120 box

    All is installed fine and doesnt seem to be any problems with the install.

    But i have an IBB connection (static IP) and i input all the settings into monowall - external ip, subnet, default gateway, and 2 dns servers
    I have the firewall between my internal network and external ibb connection

    But DNS is not working at all. I input the dns server addresses(the ibb dns server address you are given when u get it) into the correct field in monowall. But no machine can resolve ip's at all, even if i give a local imachine the dns addresses it cannot get to any website, i can ping the IBB default gateway but not the dns servers. I cant see what the problem could be.. anyone any experience with monowall?

    one thing i noticed in the firewall state menu in the monowall gui it

    Source Port Destination Port Protocol

    83.141.66.207 4529 62.231.22.11 53 udp



    the 83.xx address is my external ip and the 62.xx address is the dns server
    So shouldnt the port be 53 each end for dns quieres??? Or is the outgoing port always random as it seems to change from 4529 to a different port each time


    any suggestions?
