There's red-head and there's ginger. I'm assuming that the OP and everyone else can distinguish between the two. Ginger = evil, soulless, horrible, bastards. Red-heads can go either way,and are often mistaken for real people.

I have darky red hair, I never want to dye it or get highlights or touch it basically because people compliment me on it all the time, Ive really unusual natural highlights that can look red blonde or bown whichever way you look at them

i was ginger when i was a child. my hair is more of a dark red/brownish colour now. still have about 6 billion frieckles though.

The thing you have to rememeber is that it doesnt end at the gingerness because they also turn a mottled orange when they go out in the sun. If you can manage to find a ginger (verging on red) girl who has very fair skin without looking like a tin of orange paint exploded on her, then yes that can be attractive. Imagine a ginger with a real tan. That would be weirder.

well said...but since I started going out with my boyfriend I can judge quite fairly, the looks of ginger guys, whereas before, I would've just dismissed them as being "ginger mingers".

^^^^That reminds me...we came up with a name for ginger mingers. Its spelt the same as ginger (can't think of any other way to spell it) and it's pronounced like minger...but with a 'g' instead of the 'm'. So its a ging-er . A ginger minger.
