naked camera should film a few series in the uk, no one would know their characters over there. even better, just have a jake stevens show! on the streets of course!

Judging by the way Finland won, people seem to want to "stick it to" the Eurovision. What better way than to vote for Peter Kavanagh/Jake Stevens? A guaranteed win, if we can afford the hosting costs. ; )

Im sure the sunday business post would only be too happy to sponsor Jake in his quest as long as he uses their publication ;)

I really dont find Naked Camera funny....and Jake Stevens is probably the worst thing about it.

I'm sorry, has no-one realised that Naked Camera is just a poor version of Trigger Happy TV.

Its predictable and repetitive and I don't see how its funny past its first viewing??

    And that song is horrendous

That is the best show ever!!! It is priceless. That is definetly the funiest thing that is on Irish TV since Father Ted.

And where was Trigger Happy tv based? Fooking england. Do you not appreciate the local slant on it? Lets face it, theres fook all else on RTE that gets near it by way of decent comedy.

Lets start the petition to get Jake in for next year!

    Bachelor's Walk?
    Des Bishop's Work Experience?
    Tommy Tiernan specials

Also Father Ted was on channel4, not RTÉ or TV3

No I don't! It's a cheap knock-off and the only way I would appreciate a local flavour is if I actually recognised someone....and statistically not that many people can have seen people they recognise!

Don't get me wrong, different strokes for different folks, I just don't get it...at all!

It was ok but nothing too special!
    Des Bishop's Work Experience?

Pure muck, terrible show in which Des Bishop was the least funniest person!
    Tommy Tiernan specials

    Again,he's rubbish!

    Whoah whoah!

As I said, different strokes for different folks!

I merely listed programmes which were widely regarded as successful comedy on RTE

Bachelors Walk LOL....at it...not with it! Pile of shoite!
Tommy Tiernan, apart from slagging off religion he doesnt have a whole lot in his locker.
Des Bishop, work experience was good but he quickly ran out of decent material afterwards.

Anyway enough trolling...Jake for the eurovision ! :D

I dont think the other countries would get the joke...its been done before and failed. This years Icelandic entry was a spoof character Sylvia Night, and she failed to qualify for the second round.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,430 ✭✭✭Sizzler

But did Sylvia have a newspaper to swish around?

Ha! I rest my case ;)

It does still fail to approach Trigger Happy TV but season 2 ended the repetitiveness that ruined season 1. As you said yourself, "Different strokes for different folks" but you should give it another watch, it's improved.
