Can you still do this? Been a wee while since I've been on the train and meself a mate are headed off down to Croker in the morning...since the train pulls off prior to pub opening, we were considering packing a few crafty cans in a kitbag.
Now I'm not talking about an all out oktoberfest or acting the c*nt...just cúpla buidéal to get the day off to a flying start.
So, can you? Or is it frowned upon now...or do Iarnrod Eireann just hold you to ransom by selling them themselves?

Bring bottles and it wont look as dodge, particularly if they're the ones they sell on the train. theres nothing worse than seein a bunch of young people sittin on the train drinkin cans of bud or millar outta plastic bags.

Yeah I got a train last week and there were a few people drinking their own stuff, so I'd say you're grand.

Sweet. Hell, I wouldn't even mind paying over the odds for them from the train, but sunday morning and all that...can't be sure of getting them.
