yep, central bank would be a terrible idea. walking through trinity grounds maybe?theres the benches and all there too. i think the park closes after seven now that its summer but you could be asked to leave halfway through so it probably wouldnt be the best option.

I always find that the best place for a breakup is the other person's house because they don't feel so foolish or embarrassed to cry and you can leave whenever you like.

Iveagh Gardens? Or are they closed at night? I find its one of the few nice places in Dublin city centre. Me and my ex had our "talk" up at the summit at howth, however it ruined the place for me and now I never want to go near the place again.

yeah dont break up anywhere thats important or somewhere they visit alot or hang out. my ex and me had ours at the meeting point, the yellow yoke at nuig and now when i look at it i feel so stupid. do it somewhere quiet, trinity grounds seem ideal unless thats somewhere they study or work

I think they close at 6pm. St. Stephen's Green is later - at dusk.

Not too close to the river mind, it might go worse than you think...
