    Just saw on RTE that Cadburys are withdrawing some chocolate from sale because of a salmonella risk:

    What I want to know is what theyre going to do with the mountain of chocolate they take back. And can I have it?;)

    Godamn it! I have one of those 250gm caramels in the fridge...was about to open it too, but went with choc chip cookies instead. It was bought up the North, so it's prolly okay...still not a very appetising thought...

    Ahh but its for the UK as well...
    More than a million Cadbury chocolate bars are being pulled from shelves over fears they may be contaminated with salmonella.

    Seven of the company's most popular bars are being recalled and the contamination has been traced to a leaking pipe at Cadbury's Marlbrook plant, near Leominster in Herefordshire.
    Affected chocolate

    The recalled products are:

    * 250g Dairy Milk Turkish
    * Dairy Milk Caramel bars
    * Dairy Milk Mint bars
    * Dairy Milk 8 chunk
    * 1kg Dairy Milk bar
    * 105g Dairy Milk Buttons Easter Egg
    * 10p Freddo bar

    Damn it...none of those sites give the product dates...it's been in the fridge for near 3 weeks now.

    I had a caramel Freddo (It's a Taz, god damn it!) and a "Dairy Milk Caramel" over the past few days and I've not been sick.

    Not too sure but i think they're still recalling them even if they were bought up north.
