    Hi,
    a friend just experienced the below problem earlier today -
    lost broadband connection for about 20 minutes after speaking on the phone.

    Does anyone know why that happens or how it can be fixed?

    Probably needs a filter. I used to have this problem - although I'd only disconnect for the period spent on the phone, not for THAT long....

    Filters is right. You need one on every phone point in the house - regardless of whether or not there's a phone in them. Maplin sell them cheap enough iirc.

    Aye you only need them on points that have a phone attached.
