Usual Q - What digital camera ~ €200?

ok, not really into photography, but like to take the usual holiday snaps. Current digi camera needs replacement, want a pocket camera, optical zoom, > 4mps, pref with b&w feature....slimer the better?

Any recommendations? Also, any good website to buy recommendation from?

look at something like the nikon coolpix 5600. 5mp and can use standard AAs should you get caught out(tho you should use high capacity NiMH batteries as standard). This is better than the low capacity proprietry Li-ions that you normally get and cost a fortune to replace when they die. I think the 5 series have been uped to the 7mp 7 series.
b&w in digi cams is not really a feature. Its something which can be done on your PC afterwards by converting the image to greyscale in any bog standard photo editor. Check out adobe's 30 trial of photoshop CS2 and see what b&w pictures can really look like once you play around with them a bit.
