Can't use search function

    I can't use any of the search functions on the site, I used to be able to search for any threads I replied to by doing an advanced seatch and putting my name in. A few weeks ago this function became unavailible. but i could still search individual forums.

    Now it says that I do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

    Advanced search has been disabled due to server load. Check out this thread for the details. (skip to the end as it's quite a long thread).

    There is also a thread on Feedback concerning other ways to use search here.
