Hi everyone, I am a 20 year old mother to be, im six months into my pregnancy and was wandering if any other mothers out there ever got a 3D ultrascan done and what it was like and if they do them in Hospitals in Dublin.

    Hiya lucy,

    congratulations on your pregnancy.

I had a 3D ultrasound done at a private clinic in Rathgar. It lasted about 45 mins to an hour. We got six print outs and a DVD of the entire scan. She also told us the gender as we requested. It cost 150 euro then, but I think in that particular clinic it has gone up to 170.
