Both have EACTLY the same specs inside (bar colour differences), the firmware is the only difference and its pretty easy to change from one to the other - i'm currently running W800i firmware on my K750i , just because I prefer the interface.

The headphone difference, dunno, both are pretty crap tbh compared to my Shure headphones in terms of sound quality, there are adapters out there to use standard headphones like the Shure range IIRC.

Selling point for me was the camera quality, 2MP is reasonable ..compared to crapola in most other camera phones.

Yep, the joystick probelem is endemic on the K750i/W800i, however is fixable.

See http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.php?product=1388&cat=14 for one absolutely guaranteed not to have this problem (it had it before it was serviced and is now 100% sweet!!) , the seller is open to reasonable offers ;)
