    Doing my 2nd triathlon in september. Did one last year and have not trained since. Last year i swam the 750m every day bar sunday and cycled the 12mile and ran the 5k everysecond day and was basically exhausted 3 weeks before event. i dont want to get back into the same routine and dont want to peak before it. Any suggestions would be great how to build up to the big day?

    My other prob is the middle age spread has set and am trying to combat this. i am currently swimming everyday. I am 5ft 10 broad and 14st 10 i want to lose approx 2 stone.

    My diet looks is this;

    Brekkie: 3 wheetabix

    Lunch: chicken&sausages or pork&rashers maybe a salad(more often not)

    9-10pm 3 wheetabix

    i have apples as a snack 2-3 a day

    drink approx 1 litre of water and approx 10-14 cups of coffee.
