Look at this link you Sky+ enthusiasts:-

    http://www.artisswebdesign.co.uk/copyplus/index.php

Very handy prior to HD upgrade.

    Enjoy.

PS. anyone know where to get a HD box for self install or is it a bit early yet?

Looks interesting, and doesn't seem to do anything Sky could object to.

Make SURE you read the compatibility table BEFORE DOWNLOADING as copy to fresh disk to be used in a new Sky+ or SkyHD may not work. Only new disks in the SAME model of receiver seems definate, apart from a few exceptions.

It won't copy from a Sky+ to a skyHD as far as I can see.

It would appear that compatibility is only an issue if you intend to copy the HD and install into a different Sky+ box. If you simply wish to transfer the contents to a larger hard drive there appears to be no issues..

    Must try it soon.
