Remember those tiny, portable computer-game thingies?

What were they called again? There was only one game built into them and I'd say the most popular was Donkey Kong, but there were other ones - I remember one involving shark-infested waters. The batteries were tiny silver discs.

Heres one that I dug out of its hiding place when I seen this tread, its a Nintendo and its a two player or player vs computer boxing game.

My brother got it in the late 80's and its dated 1984. Pretty cool the little joypads eh that rolled up and fitted into it.

Shame though that it only had the one game built in and thats all could be played on it

Nice find. It's damn sophisticated compared to the ones we had, which had no joypads. They were strictly one-player, even smaller than that and even more basic. Bloody addictive, though!

The Nintendo ones were really playable. There's definately skill to playing it well and you can practice away trying to beat your score. I have a Ninja Gaiden one by Tiger that's pretty excellent as well.
