I took loads of pictures at the Polo matches in the Phoenix Park at the weekend, I got some really good shots too (I think) :) Here's one of them. The players name is Lindor Garvalan and plays for Oakleaf Minotaurs. C&C welcome, I am more used to showjumping and solo horse shots

One more with more action in it, Carrick O'Reilly (on the left) tacking Lindor Garvalan (just about to hit the ball)

    Well done :)

I've enjoyed looking at them, too many to comment though!

I love the ones with the towery thingy in the background. Looks very majestic...

Yeah I think it's Cleopatra's Needle or a copy of it. Yeah lots of pictures mainly for all the teams to have a look at. I was doing some work for one of the sponsors too. They sell Land Rover jeeps.

I was up in the park last Saturday week just passing so stopped to take some pictures, printed some out A4 and went back on Sunday to give them to the people who were in the pics, the editor of the Irish Field who was in the clubhouse saw some of them and had a look at my pictures from that day, picked one and asked me to e-mail it in, it was in last Saturdays Irish Field (only small but good still :)) I was talking to their sponsor and he asked me to take some pictures of the teams lining up, I had practiced in Tatersalls 3 day event to get some tie-in pictures between cars and horses (you know the type glossy pictures in their showroom) I then branded some of the pictures I took and will meet him tomorrow to have a look at them (I am doing that for free to use as a refrence) Made a few quid selling pictures to the players too. Long days and about 1000 pictures to sift through. Enjoyable though..:) Just lucky I guess to answer your question, right man in the right place

Those are cool shots - I have been meaning to do that for a while too. I was in the park that day photographing the leinster football league heritage cup at the 15 acres but didnt make it down to the polo grounds.
