    Seein as there're so many different opinions on what punk is ya might be better of listing a few bands you like.

    Most of it is in the thread but at the moment it's shaping up to be Bad Religion style punk mixed with a good bit of hardcore (Suicidal Tendencies, Sick of it All, Refused)

    EDIT: We now have a drummer on board so we are just looking for a Singer. Anyone who feels up to it, you don't have to be great.

    easy mate, this sounds like a laugh...

    i'm 27, i haven't really been paying much attention to punk since the dead kennedys and the circle jerks but they were both savage...

    i've been mc-ing to drum and bass music for years, played in spirit, the hub, fraziers, temple bar music centre, switch, mono [what the village used to be called many years ago] and at a fair few illegal raves round the coutry... played in belgium holland and germany too..

    i'm a bit sick of having to go up and say pretty much the same **** about money, girls and weed every time i play and i wouldn't mind having a stab at actually singing about **** that matters in a raw and agressive kind of way...

    as for punk credentials, well i don't have punk trousers but i used to live with an anarchist theatre collective and i can quote passages from the bible to suit every occasion without believing a word of it so the idea of an atheist punk band tickles me in the right places....

    there was an mp3 of a gig i did in holland on some german website but its down at the moment... my voice is aggressive and loud, and my writing style and flow are quite heavily influenced by dancehall people like t.o.k. and spragga benz...

    as for bands i like at the moment, punk or otherwise, i can't even think of one "dead tree music" band i've listened to in about a decade so we'll have to stick with the circle jerks and the dead kennedys as punk influences... not that it really matters a jot...

    so yeah, hit me up with a pm if you want to hook up for a talk... you'd better not be a straight edge band though, or you'll be sorely disappointed.
