Good stuff IMO. I liked the bit with Rose going "I know" and so on.

A bit un-eventful but I liked the ending.
I'll look forward to next week's episode.

Pretty weak episode overall, Rose and Bernard's flashback was quite boring and of course a typical LOST ending with Michael returning, lets hope next week's is an improvment...

Enjoyed the episode i have to say . Im not one of those people that needs to see things move forward constantly to enjoy the episode.Liked the way the island "cured" Rose and her acknowledgement of such with Locke.

Thought it was a fairly good episode. I thought that the idea that the Rose was healed by the island was a nice storyline and I felt a bit sorry for Bernard. Though the part were Rose went to Locke "But you and I know it won't take that long" or somethning along the lines of that was interesting, particularly when we see that they both met at the airport. I'm giving this a 9, but it would've been an 8 if it wasn't for Michael returning.

I gave it a 6. The back story was alright and it was kind of obvious that she saw Locke in the wheelchair. I thought the couple thrend in the episode was kind of interesting, Hurley & Libby, Sawer & the dog, Charlie & Mr Ecko, Claire & babs, Locke & the hatch. It was kind of peaceful, in a weird way.

I really wish RTE would not show the clips to advertise the show. It ruined the scene of the doll being picked up by Kate, but then again I could just switch over.

So Michael and no Walt. They still have his boy. Hopefully they will not let Henry go now until they can bargain.

4 more episodes to go, wish it was just over now. Next week has to be better. Thanks again for posting the US link Basquille, it is always interesting.

    ditto!

I thought the episode was overall very uneventful but then again...it wasn't really. To us, Michael showing up wasn't a very big deal but you could determine it to be a big event.

Anyway, I thought it was good. The only problem was, to me, it was very very predictable.

Average episode IMO but I liked it.

Jack: ...and when did you plan to tell me this?
Kate: When you let me back in your club.

Dunno why but I found that hilarious :)

I loved the bit where henry goes "they'll NEVER give you Walt back" or something along those lines- he is so slick - best character in the series - the more he's in an episode the better it is. Uneventful but enjoyable. Jack finally growing a pair of balls and lock back in good form and off this wierd buzz he's been on for so long.

I gave it an 8, I enjoyed it alot.

I thought at the start it was weird when Rose basically told Bernard that they won't get off the Island, and she has a good sense for these things, remember she was the only one who insisted some of the tailies survived.

Also, I really felt for Bernard when he was flipping because everyone had resigined to the fact they were stuck on the island, and nobody seemed to be making a pro-active effort to get off.

The ending was good too, but it does mean that next week will most probably be a:
    But they took ma bhoyyyyy
    fest....
Also, going on recent LOST trends, Michael probably won't even feature in next weeks episode.

Finally, Henrys expression when Locke looses his temper is brilliant. That actor plays him so well. Henry is definitely playing on Locke's emotions/feelings & his belief in fate & the island.

Has anyone else noticed that Jack is gradually getting less annoying?

My favourite line was when Jack approaches Saywer & Kate and Saywer says, "Oh great, here comes Dr. Giggles"

I thought it was enjoyable enough. Not the greatest episode ever, but not bad. While I didn't think that Rose/Bernard's backstory was the most exciting, it was good to finally see into her past.
My favourite part was near the end in the flashback when Rose runs into Locke on his wheelchair in the airport. It explains that earlier moment they had in the episode when Rose says "We both know it won't take that long" when referring to Locke's recovery from his leg injury.
Also loved when Locke was knocking at the door of the armoury and shouting at Henry, asking him did he press the button. I loved the shot of Henry's sly smile. Terrific part.

it was a bit boring... I like the bit when Rose dropped her pills. So far is she the only one that knows that Locke was in the wheel chair. I think she restored his faith in the island when they were talkin... Kinda reminded him that the Island is special. Micheal Coming back I knew it was going to happen that or walt... I knew the others wouldn't be there.

Fav bit the conversation about the hatch

Jack: "When were you going to tell me"
Kate: "When were you going to let me back in the gang"

or the look on Sawyers face how did you get a gun

I thought it was a decent enough episode - but a tad predictable at the same time. Liked the ending, although you knew it was Michael running to Jack & Kate.

I thought the best line was Bernard to Eko "I liked you better when you just hit people with your stick"

    Not overly impressed.
I'm one of those folk who have to have things move along to enjoy it... :D

And oh great - Michaels back. Hopefully he'll have amnesia (of course he will) and forget he ever had a kid.

I think we need more of Vincent.

Didn't like this episode at all. A good ending didn't make up for the boredom of the 49 minutes that went before. Michael returning should stir things up though, was he sent by the others? Did he escape? Suppose we'll have to find out next week.

When the shot pans out, from Bernard and Rose hugging on the beach, we see the unfinished SOS sign and piles of rocks. The 2 piles and the unfinished S clearly make a sad face :( ...even though it's a happy moment, that sign was pretty ominous.

Gotta love the use of the Otis reading track @ the end... good tune , id dance to that with Anna Lucia anyday :p

I dont want any spoilers or anything but could someone who has seen the US episodes at least tell us whether or not the final few episodes are good or not? like on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best in the series, 1 being the worst) just so we know what to expect?

Not each individual episode maybe, but just - is there hope for us weekly viewers who may have been a bit dissapointed with the last couple of episodes? Does it get much better?

Could you put that in Spoilers 'cause I don't want to know that information either.

    Thanks

    Spoiler on previous q -
I reckon, the last five eppys are the best eppy's of lost yet, with the finale being poissibly the best tv drama I've seen. The next eppy has the biggest shock in lost yet.

I really liked it, particularly Bernard and Rose flashbacks - second only to Eko imo.
Uneventful but still a very good in-between before the action really gets started, I hope.

Yes! I thought that exactly when I was watching the bits with him and Kate. I really don't know with Jack...sometimes I love him and sometimes i hate him!

sunzz BANNED for discussion of where to obtain episodes..

DamoKen warned as it's his first offence (that i know of) and he wasn't the one doing the asking and didn't publicly specifiy any information on where to get episodes.

.. and with no less than 3 stickies at the top of the forum warning against it!

Anyways.. back to the episode discussion!
