NSV Alternative?

    Is there any Alternative out there to make it possible to watch .nsv files in Media Player Classic, that Winamp player is getting on my tits

    Haven't verified this myself but you could try Winamp Alternative and see if they play in MPC.

    The video format used in the Winamp .nsv files is known, its just vp62 video and AAC encoded audio but there doesn't seem to be any splitters out there which handle the nsv container which would allow proper handing off to the video/audio decoders.

    If you want to persist looking try searching for a directshow nsv decoder or try something else like VLC they may have hard-coded in support for the format.

    Edit: Just tried a little known player called KMP which lists support for nsv files and it worked playing them back suprisngly the interface borrows heavily from the default Winamp skin.
