I was told that TK Maxx sell brand label clothes pretty cheap. Is this true? Are they Nike and Addidas and that sort of stuff. What do you think of it?

Got an Yves Sant Laurent shirt there once for €25. TK Maxx is brilliant if you have the time to spend routing through the (massively disorganised) rails. Sometimes there'll be nothing but crap there, other times you'll get good stuff at great reductions.

They're factory seconds. Quite often there's nothing visibly wrong with the clothes.

It's on my list of place not to be on a Saturday. Really quite unplesant in Steven's Green SC. The one in Swords is actually nicest I think with the one in Blanch probably the biggest.

i usually just get my trainers in there, don't really wear tracksuits or anything like that... so it's not so bad. i'd hate to be trawling through the racks though...

Happy days then. I am planning on going into the one on the green. It sounds like a good shop. Very cheap by the sounds of things.

Don't get overlly excited. Effectively they sell seconds and out of style clothes. It is not easy to find stuff you like or even particularly pleasant to do so.

You can find good stuff but don't get your hopes up too high as there is an awful lot of tat.

If your on a mission for something in paticular it can be good because as said above there is alot of crap to get through if your browsing. Personally i get alot of my work/suit shirts there, Nice quality stuff but sometimes it looks like a tornado hit that section so patience can be required.

as already said just have a lot of patience. Personally it's somewhere I'd go every couple of months and spend a morning trawling the racks out in Swords. you really need to dedicate a few hours to it, normally I'd go down very early on a Saturday morning when I'd nothing on the Friday, it is definitely not a place to be with a hangover :D . Last time I was there got I think 6 pairs of designer jeans, all good quality, right size and really nice looking. Think I spent around €140 altogether!

Yes, go there with plenty of time and determination. Try to beat the crowds so that you have a chance to get into the dressing rooms without having to wait for 20 minutes.

if they fixed the air conditioning in stephens green then you'd be in the mood to trawl, but like anytime i go in there it's like 40 degrees.

I got my Johnny Blaze Wolverine jeans in there, for €40! They used to sell a lot of decent clothes, but recently it's descended to mostly Billabong. :(

Tk Maxx are badly let down by their stores' interior design. The stupid looking checkouts, service desk and uniform would do well to get a cheap enough H&M or a|wear style makeover.

Some of the clothes are very good and cheap, a lot of it is crap, you need to take the time to sort through it all.
