Hi, i hope someone can help me with this issue. Over the wend i have moved my tv with my sky digital box from one end of the room to the other and have connected it all up with coaxial cable but it is not able to find a signal this way.
When it is moved back to the original spot it all works fine. Can anyone tell me do i need special sky cable or something instead of the coaxial cable?
    Appreciate it, thanks :D

You need satellite grade cable, not generic (usually brown) coaxial, and any joins will have to have been done with proper F connecters and a coupler, not generic TV plugs. You may have made the cable run too long if you've done all this properly, but I doubt that a few metres is enough to go from usable signal to none.

It's probabily a cable joint not passing the 14V / 18V power needed by the LNB at the dish end.
