Visions... cheeze this is weird

I keep having visions of some bloke in my room. Its kinda creepy, but I keep getting the feeling I'm not alone here, as I type this now, I can see in the corner of my eye the figure of some one. This is highly strange as I am not in the slight bit paranormal or whatever it is they call it. aaaahh ok im off now to the telephone in a minute.

I've gotten it before when half asleep and the random shadows in the room seem to make rough shapes. I though Padre Pio was kneeling by my bed one night (no kidding).

I live in a very old house, and there is always a feeling particularly at night that there is someone else there even if there is no one else in the house. Also when you walk up the stairs there is a feeling that someone is following you very very closely.

Its a very strange feeling, especially as i found out recently that my sister has had the same, saying that im not too worried seeing as ive lived here 23 years and nothing too strange has ever happened.

Ah sure its a fact that my house has a spirit in it.
Back in 1921 a young girl was killed in the corner of the sittingroom.
My mam always complains that the room does never be warm, even with the heating up to full. But the chair is beside the area in which the girl was murdered, so I guess that explains it.
Many a time I have been alone in this house, to find out Im not alone.

ok without knowing too much about ur scenario OP (please feel free to give ur personal circumstances) heres my tupence:

alcohol or drug related
shadows or poor lighting conditions
mental disorder (Doesnt necessarily mean ur mental)
stress
perception (is it an old house n u just moved in?)
Old Hag Syndrome (happens when u wake up or are asleep)

there are other possibilities but without knowing the full circumstances its hard to say. in the unlikely event that it is supernatural, i wudnt worry if there is no poltergeist activity.

Old Hag Syndrome is quite common but is very freaky actually. Basically it effects people who suffer from Sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is where the victim wakes up and cant move, speak etc. It wears off shortly after. Old hag sufferers on waking up feel or see evil presences in their room and is extreme circumstances, the evil presence chokes them before they snap out of it. The spooky thing about it (And it is a medical condition, seriously google it!) is that all sufferers to see the prescence all see an old woman...

heyes similarly ur situation can be explained too. i lived in a house where one of the rooms could just never heat up. turns out that there was an issue with the flow of water in to the rad in the room.

Whew, well i just checked this thread as i couldnt find it before. yeah that was weird allright, i was just chilling in my room, no e's no joints or anyother drugs by the way! but yeah i kept seeing the outline of a man in the corner of my eye. i left the room and went downstairs for a while. i think it was jsut a creepy feeling i was getting, maybe cos i was on my own in the house and it was unusually queit so i could hear every little creek and the water in thepipes and stuff going on outside, usually i have music playing but not that night.. so i put it my vision down to tiredness! shame i wouldnt have minded a little paranormal activity woooh!

My sister gets sleep paralysis when she's stressed out. She came into my room one night bawling crying saying she suddenly woke up and her whole body was frozen. She couldn't move or speak and had a sensation of somebody choking her. It sounds awful and pretty scary.....
