    Hi guys.

    Anyone here have a Macbook??

Im pretty excited about the prospect of buying a Macbook.

Apple have released a pdf guide to changing the hard drive here:
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/MacBook_13inch_HardDrive_DIY.pdf

so between that and ram Im chuffed at the upgrade possibilities.

Am I right in thinking you need a SATA laptop hard drive?
I dont think Komplett do them.
Anyone know where Id find one of these?

I was gonna ask about the whole white going orange thing, but I suspect that has only happened to a minority of Macbook users.

Someone told me to wait for a rev B of the Macbook, but is there really any point?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this...

Check around the recent threads on macbooks and MBP's; it seems like there are still a few issues to be ironed out; for the most part you're unlikely to get a faulty machine, but there's more chance of you getting one in the initial run than the second run (just like most hardware and even software)

    Hey.

Im selling my g5 in the next couple of days so was hoping to purchase my macbook in a shop in town.

My friend tells me I can only get the base model with the 60gig harddrive and 512 ram from a shop. Anyone know is this true?

Yeah. If you wanna get upgrades you have to order from apple.
