    Inspired by contemporary Cornwall crazies, Aphex Twin and Tom Middleton, Vibert started developing a musical grammar of his own in styles ranging from drum'n'bass to acid techno, twisted breaks, and, more recently, "proper disco". His most recent LP 'Sorry I Make You Lush', is gleefully oddball, all exotic-sounding flourishes, synth squelches, psychedelic squirts, whistles, cowbells, loopy vocal cut-ups and tasty melodies.

    Mirakil Whip are a guitar driven synth duo, and truly one of the shining lights of the Irish underground sce ne. Their sound is a mixture of intense swelling guitar and droney bleepy keys and samples, punctuated by the dulcet tones of Aaron Coyne all set to a backdrop of mesmerising beats.
