I've had a Creative Zen 60GB for a few years now, and I haven't looked at getting a new player since.

When I bought my 60GB player, that amount of storage was comparable to what was available in desktop PC's at the time (they were at about 80GB I think). Now desktops are coming with 200GB or more, but the storage space of the average MP3 player seems to have not changed at all?

In fact, looking at what's available now, it seems to me that there are even less 60GB players now than there were years ago? Creative's new players all seem to be 40GB max.

If I want to buy an upgrade, which are the good >= 60GB players out there now?

I'd prefer not to get an iPod (UI too simple, doesn't give enough info, I'd like to see the MP3 bitrate at least). I see there's a Neuros 2 one which is 80GB, seems to be the biggest I can find?

You ain't gonna get any more than sixty gigs in a reasonably sized player for a few months at least. The 1.8" toshiba hdd only runs with 30gb/platter so 60 is the max unless you buy something with a 2.5" laptop style hdd in it. Methinks the archos models go up to 100gb. 80gb double platters have not been released to the general public as yet so you'll have to wait if you wanna replace the zen disc with something bigger...
