Just wondering if Im the only one who never clicks on a link on these boards without a sufficient description telling me whether Ill be amused or not? What I mean is, 99% of threads here where someone posts a link to what they regard as a funny video clip or website, the post usually is has the link with the description stretching no further than "enjoy" or "rofl this is deadly". Out of curiousity anyone else out there who just cant be arsed clicking in case its something, lets say, based on a film you have not seen? Its not that hard to add a one line description of what is is ffs!

Well first thing I do is check where the link goes by looking at the bar at the bottom or right-clicking the link and selecting properties.

Someone in here the other day posted a dodgy link but his post count was 1 so I checked the link straight away and sure enough it didn't lead where it was supposed to.

I know if the link is a YouTube video or the like then it is probably funny or amusing. I really think all links should say whether they are work-safe or not. A simple NSFW tag would help :)

I click on them if I think they will be okay.

Half the time I'm too lazy to check it so I just check the responses of everyone. If it sounds funny I check.

Well if it's work safe and not dodgy, I don't see the problem, you can usually tell after a few seconds whether these things are going to be funny or not.

    Doesn't bother me tbh.

I hate people that use non-descriptive subjects for their threads.

Oh and whats the deal with airline food?

Dito. If you've a slow connection, it can be a real pain for no reward. Let others do the work for you, then check it out if they think it's funny.
