Or is it FM104, I dunno. All I know is Ive been jumped by 3 people in the Blanch centre asking if I was him. The first one I walked by, thought she was mad. Whats the clues for this anyway anyone know? (dont listen to much radio myself, havent been following it and im not near the radio at the mo)

Was asked 6 times in about 200 yards of a walk today, they came into the restaurant where we were eating for my dad's birthday.

A friend of mine was even asked had they seen the fugitive.

I think it's a terribly irresponsible promotion... they're using greed to motivate all the thugs and scumbags in the city to hassle people going about their business.

One guy grabbed me by the arm the other day and started asking me if I was the fugitive, I told him to f*ck off, and he started kicking me.

It's the biggest sham going.

It's an absolute disgrace though. I don't listen to their terrible radio station and I'm not playing their stupid game... why should I have to put up with harassment and abuse because of it?

I'm definitely going to be filing a complaint with the Broadcasting Complaints Commission.

Yes it is. The guy changes every day as well, the clown that "rings in" to the station is sitting nextdoor to the studio and is just some voiceover guy.
The actual fugitive are just hired random punters who have fack all else to do. Sort of defeats the purpose if they used the same guy all the time. But whats to stop the guy from saying no if you did catch him? Focking pile of ****e.

Well I got pretty angry and started ranting at him about getting a life an not to be listening to such ****e radio and bothering people.

It was all pretty heated and he had a bunch of his gobsh*te friends around him shouting at me too... luckily.. what I guess was a female in their group decided to pull him back from the confrontation... I decided it wasn't worth pursuing and went on my way only to be harrased by other rude people, who get really angry at you if you say 'NO' in a curt manner to them... 98fm's demographic seems to be mostly composed of scum.

Fair play. I was sitting having dinner in the Blanchardstown Centre for my fathers birthday earlier and a woman came up to me and asked my whole family if we were the fugitive. I let rip at her.

Also, a friend of mine works in the centre (wears a uniform and everything) and has been asked dozens of times already today.

And best of all, a friend of mine who is a Garda was asked one day while in full uniform. The idiot thought he might be "in disguise".

Well if it wasn't before it certainly is now. The fugitive was apparently caught in the Leisureplex in Blanch before. I'd say the e9,000 was cashed in 50cent coins and spent on the ****ing dance machines and slot machines.

I don't apreaciate being grabbed by total strangers in a shopping centre accusing me of being part of a pathetic radio promotion... I had every right to tell him to f*ck off.

If more people told these rude idiots to f*ck off then maybe they'd start to think twice about hassling other people.

Well when you're in a rush to get to the bank before it closes and I've already been stopped 10 times and even had people shouting at me out of passing cars about it... my temper was starting to get VERY short.

98 FM and their competitions are a load of bollocks.

I never listen to the station but they had a competition a while back - "The Road to The Red Carpet" or something - and I had the misfortune for some reason to be listening to it that particular day. Anyway I knew the answer early on and lost count of how many times I rang them throughout the day only for their end to ring out. When they gave the final give-away clue, the line was engaged immediately.

I wouldn't be surprised if the fugitive is another scam.

Can 98fm be held accountable for the actions of random dickheads who go up to people and start hassling them about being the fugitive or not?

It's unfortunate that people get hassled but it's the scumbags fault for going about it in an aggressive manner instead of just asking "are you the 98fm fugitive?" which is what they're supposed to do.
