    im looking for a dome tent 2-3 man with a large porch big enough to comfotly sit in take off boots jacketetc when it is wet,it will not be the tent that goes up the hills with me but for a standing camp

    was looking at a good tent vango or sim,,,,any ideas

    I have a Eurohike Kent for standing camps which is excellent. Big enough for 2 people comfortably but would take 3 if they aren't big. Has a great vestibule. I bought mine in Millets in the Square, Tallaght for less than €100.

    http://www.findmeatent.com/ is a good site for overall range of tents. Have a look there before making a choice.
