Where to Meet

    Heres the situation:
I got texting and instant messaging to this girl, from a mutual friend bout jaysus nearly 2 months ago now I'd say, we seem to be getting on well, and I finally bit the bullet last week and asked her if she wanted to get together and meet up. Shes up for it anyway, just that between our working hours and stuff its been difficult to arrange a time, however yesterday we seemed to find some common time, however its after 10pm.
Im on the North side, shes south side, just point out Im not from Dublin,
My question, where/what would be a suitable place to meet for the first time, at that time of night?

All good ideas greatly accepted, no time wasters, only joking.

as i cant state a destination, il just say a bar. somewhere you can chat without it being too loud or crowded! iv been in that situation before and trust me, for both parties a drink to calm the nerves is best!:D

you could go to her local or somewhere near it. Dublin isn't that big and the whole northside/ southside thing doesn't really make much of a difference. just get a bus or the dart.

The Forum bar on Dame Street is nice, music is not loud so you can have a decent chat. Think last drinks are around 12:30ish.

Bit cheesey alrite but I reckon pub is best bet around that time of night. Quiet drink (or not) and somewhere with a bit of atmosphere but not too much. Her local might put her off a bit, as if she gets cold feet you'll be on her doorstep - I'd say central location, easy for both of you to get home! Maybe even a hotel bar...

'tis a good spot. Depends on age and how stuck up one is before could suggest a place. The fancy enough places on Dawson St. might do the trick if she's that kind of lady, but if she's a more down to earth lass it could all end before it began. I don't know the situation of any of the hotel bars around the city, but I would think if you did a bit of research they might be the best spots - quiet and nice surroundings and good service...

Save yourself some time and meet her in the pub next door to the Samaritans head office. Pighead guarantees you the bitch is gonna end up breaking your poor sweet heart.
