laptop battery

    is my laptops battery affected if i leave it plugged in when im using it and only rarley empty it

    I would say so, leaving it in the laptop while plugged in will reduce the overall life of the battery. Take it out every month or so let it discharge fully and then charge it up again.

    It should say so in the manual - I know on mine it says you should run it on battery until the battery power runs out at least once a month.

    I think if its on mains power all the time when you do start running it off battery it can affect the battery capacity.
