    Sandblasting gives a smoother finish on metal and would be better for your wheels.

    To save yourself hassle after they're done , find something to cover where the wheel bearings go (you'll have to take the bearings out cos the grease could run out with the heat in the oven) , and find a few bolts to put into the brake disc holes .
