    Final level Day 1 IPT 3k buy in, Blinds 300/600(I think)

    UTG+1, loose player, all in for 4k after similar move previous hand picks up the blinds.

    Button who has just joined the table a few hands previously plays his first hand at the table going all in for 18k.

    Me BB, 33k in chips and look down to see KK.

    90 players left out of 161, chip average 18k, last level before break for the night. 33k good enough to be in the top 15 but winning this pot would put me 2nd in chips. Pretty sure that small stack could be going all in with anything and feel Button should know this even though he has only joined the table a few hands previous.

    What is my play?

    Is there some part of the hand missing for this?

    If not, no brainer for me...

    short stack pushes 4k? button pushes 18k?

    You = KK

    Call?

    I'd have to call, if you lose you drop to just below average stack, knowing you done the right thing imo

    I presume you were one of the guys in the hand or at least at the table BigD?

    This has to be a call every time. You have not stated any reason why you would have to think you are looking at AA (more than the standard risk anyhow). If you called and were against AA, unlucky. If you called and lost to Ax or lower PP, then unlucky. If you folded, even if it turned out you would have won it was a wrong fold in my opinion. I can't see how you could fold this here though given all the information available.

    You are right bigD 150/300/25. Of course I called, UTG+1 33, Button AA and no help so down to 15k. Did not tilt and started next day with 13k but did not last long. Third time on first day I ran into AA holding AK suited, JJ and finally KK. It was nice to play with Dave Colclough, proper gent on the table.

    I call. I cant understand why the button would want to move in to protect the UTG+1 player. He's made a nice raise for AA to hide behind, if he flat calls, you come over the top and he nails you too. The way he played it, you considered folding, the other way he lets you walk into it. I dunno.... I know people say "corner him and get heads up" but with only two players to act after me I would be tempted to let one of them join the fun.

    DeV.
