Rough Plaster on Walls

I've removed the wall paper in my house and found that the plaster work is really rough, in the hall and 1 bedroom, I've put some paint on the walls and you can still see the little holes in the plaster work from removing the wall paper.

There is a product on the market that you can roll on to the walls to give a smooth finish before painting.

Has anybody any experience of this?

    Or

Would I be better to dryline the walls?

    Hi Max,

I think that product got a negative review here a while back, you might be better off drylining the walls.

If the walls aren't dry-lined already - what had been under the wallpaper?

If you do dry-line the walls - you will still need to plaster the joints at the very least.
