Tension is rising in Frankfurt Square

Anyone watching the scenes in Frankfurt on sky news..A large group of England supporters have refused to leave the square and are basicly hammered!. (been there since 12 miday)

Riot police have moved in.

They have been chanting things like , " Let's go f'ing mental" and "Two world wars and one world cup" to taunt the german police and a few bottles have been thrown.

Interesting developments , although not suprising.

Anyone with sky news active can watch a live camera at the scene.

I think they are in the "Der Romer" part of the city there (near starbucks lol).... but its a shame that they are ruining the atmosphere in such a beautiful city.

did ye see that a number of british police have been sent over to germany to help police the world cup? dunno if it's just british ones (or why if that is the case), or if they have coppers from other countries too, but they were on sky news earlier.

It's not just British police, it's police from other nations too. It's believed that if people see their own police force patrolling instead of just the German one, it'll cause less conflict. I can't find a source, I think it was from TV or radio that I heard it.
