i offered 3 ladies drinks unconditionally tonight.,..they had fresh drinks in front of them so they refused...I told them they were unconditional and that I was leaving but I wanted to be generous and they refused...

None of the 3 made eye contact.

Is this what it is like when drunk people approach you?

I can still spell correctly when drunk but I feel disappointed seeing as I was only trying to be nice but my generosity was refused...

    Any opinions???

    :(:(:(

PS: please dont ban me I'm just drunk.

    I hear yah.

In my merry excitement a while back I decided to wish everyone in the streets (mainly O'Connell street) the best of luck with life and all that. Needless to say the vast minority of people actually responded in a positive light. I've been informed that one person threatened to stab me in the face :( But my truely good natured self got away unscathed.

In retrospect I'm surprised I'm still alive.

the important question here is, why the hell would u want to pay (at least) 15 quid or so, on 3 women...who u dont know...and your on ur way out the door?

unless these women had alcohol flavoured nipples, i dont see why anyone would offer what u did. you should be shot...preferably in brain...alot

jayzis, the poor girls probably thought you were a psycho! They were probably expecting you to ask can you grab their bewbs in exchange for the drinks -- people don't normally just buy drinks for someone and walk off: there's always a catch :D

oh yeah all the time. It's great hitting all the wrong keys and then reading back over what you typed and saying "ahh ****it, they'll know...they'll know...." SUBMIT

OP, have you tried these tactics in a gay bar? I bet your sucsess rate would soar.

Of course none of the three lovely ladies at any time suspected that perhaps you were planning on spiking those same free drinks and that by "leaving" you actually meant "waiting outside in your van with the blacked out windows"

Since they didn't take you up on the offer, may I? I don't want any drinks right now though, but just transfer the money into my paypal account and I'll get a few the next night I'm out and I'll pm you and tell you how they went.

    Sound good?

believe it or not, people can refuse you for just no reason at all.

has nothing to do with you. you feel disappointed? are you sure youre not mixing that feeling up with being annoyed?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,921 ✭✭✭✭Pigman II

    Why would they accept?

You were probably just making a generous (albeit falling around the place drunk) gesture alright despite what you assured them they probably suspected there was no such thing as a free lunch (or pint). Either that or they suspected you'd spiked them or worse still stuck your mickey in them beforehand.

with the money you saved from buying the girls a drink you could have bought yourself a fake moustache and a cowboy hat...headed down to the George and scored freely there for the night.

Works 76% of the time 100% of the time.

Well what I did instead to console myself was I walked into the health food shop in town and asked out the fine looking girl behind the counter and she said yes.

So all in all f*ck you stuck up bitches from last night!!!111oneoneone

STOP buying/offering to buy random chicks a drink! Is this the only way you can score? The only time I would buy a random chick a drink is after I've been chatting/snogging/whatever for a while and I know they're not just a scrounger.

Random purchases of green tea are cheaper than random purchases of alcohol.

Ive always found copious amounts of alcohol mixed with a mobile that has the phone numbers of one or more attractive women to be a far worse combo tbh.

Ended up buying a load of offy drink for some 17 year old birds on a hazy drunken trip to the seaside Saturday. Damn bizatches disappeared soon after (we bought it for them with their money mind, we`re not fcukin stupid)

    Still, great day, 1:30pm til 4am :)

Re buying drink for birds in the pub, few weeks ago was in Temple Bar, we arrived at 1:30 and the pub was closing by 2:30, so some serious intake was required in a short time. Anyway, when the bar was closing we found ourselves talking to some Swedish birds, one of whom was desperate for a drink. I still had a full bottle of WKD left and ran off to get it

"Here ya go, told ya Id get ya one"
*looks at it* "Did you put something in this?" :D

I dont know if she thought d thrown a quarter litre of raw vodka or 3 rohypnol in, either way its a feckin shockin question to ask :D

You just need to understand that most girls will be cautious of anyone offering them free booze...espcially booze that they have not seen served themselves.

Besides, if you were drunk i imagine you just reminded them of every other drunken guy in the place.

Damn rapists with their pills, they give good, decent people like me who simply want to get the girl rubbered drunk a bad name......

If you want to meet her this weekend i would text her now, else she might make plans with other people and be unable to meet or something.

I dont' buy the whole, don't show that you keen thing. You asked her out in a shop, that kinda implies your keen!!!! :D

Becase so many men think that if they buy a girl a drink its a big step top having sex with her, many women will automatically refuse unless they can really see the possibility of getting together with them.
Best to talk to them and build up some trust first

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 395 ✭✭Dermington

    Ah trust....

    My arch enemy ;)

Ok I will text her now then.
