Had a NI card, about 18 months old, blue with a yellow house. I would not have used it for a couple of months, the same box has a slave multiroom card in it. when I removed the multiroom card and reinstalled the NI card, It now says I need to ring a number to get C4. Any ideas, has the card been disabled. :(

Because its been out of the box for a while its missed a 'keep alive' signal. Leave it in the box for a few hours maybe up to twenty four hours and ch4 should be back on.

make sure you disconnect the phone point when leaving the NI card in the box for 24 hours (I read somewhere that if you leave the box on Sky News channel that this can speed up the process - however this may be an urban myth!!)

hi guys, i ahve the same problem with a card that was purchased in the uk, though i haven't left the card out for more than a day, the only thing is my father has put the phone line back in for sky for a while where we were able to use without this (don't know why he did it but), should i leave the card in for 24 hours withouth the phone line connected.
    thanks

Hi, I have the same problem. Bought a secondhand digibox and yellow house card on ebay. It arrived today works fine except the card dont work for ch4 ch5 and sky3. As above I take it I leave the receiver on but not connected to the phone line for 24 hrs? I was told when I was buying it that the card worked fine. Should that sort it out?
