Balanced Equations

    Ok, huzzah for Chem finals.
    I need to check my balanced equations and I'm not allowed to ask my teacher for any help, so here goes:

    KOH + (H)C9H7O4 --> H2O + KC9H7O4

    and

    NaOH + (H)C9H7O4--> H2O + NaC9H7O4

    Oh,and if you could help me with the charges of each of these polyatomic ions I would be most grateful.

    From what i can see, you're equation's are fine. Balanced perfectly.

    I just noticed this is an old thread, so probably too late, but there ya go anyways.
