it was an australian thing, with a young boy as the protagonist.
There was lots of strange goings on, like rocks that would talk to him:confused:
the little kid kind of reminded me of luke skywalker for some reason- he may have looked like his 'son' or something. BTW the little guy had dark hair

Round the twist...? Or is that more 90s?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

"have you ever, ever felt like this - do strange things happen? are you going round the twist?"

Alot of this shower was based around a bay area with a light house.

    It wasnt "round the twist"
it was early to mid 80s - i was quite young at the time, so cant really remember much else about it. There may have been something to do with aborigines.
I think the big rock that spoke to him was like a "grandfather spirit" or something.
    Thanks for the replies tho

There's something in my head saying "Tomorrow People" or "Future People" or "People of Tomorrow" or something like that although maybe I'm talking complete rubbish!

Yeah the bad guy in that is now in some australian hospital drama on TV 3 now. It looks like he finally caught her and ate her.
