Anyone know of some good tutorials for building a pc out there off hand? I've read a nice few from Tomshardware and the like but still not 100% happy!

    I'm hard to please!

    Cheers

Eh its one of those things that you just kind of pick up as you go along really. Can't say i know of any good tutorials. Do you know of anyone who has already built a computer? They might be of a help in getting you started.

What you can do here is post the parts and specs of the computer you intend to buy and we'll tell you if its all compatible and if there are some areas that you could improve. Have you replaced any parts in your computer before and do you know all the main components needed to build one and what each components effect on the overall system is?

    Check this site out

    http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/

There is a step by step guide there also make sure you check their forums link at the top of the page...

They update the site often and the forums are a great source of info and help for beginners..
