I'm going to be having a few brewskies shortly and I want you guys to recommend a few albums for me to listen to? No 2pac, Dre, NWA, G-Unit, Eminem, Busta, Jay-z, Nas, BIG or Ludacris because I've heard most of them. I want to expand my rap horizons. Let the healing begin...

UGK - Ridin' Dirty and Dirty money two great Southern albums. (difficult to get though)

Big Pun - Capital Punishment, Such a large album so many tracks to enjoy.

Petey Pablo - Diary of a Sinner: 1st Entry, Petey 1st album, fantastic!

Dead Prez - Let's Get Free, very political but very enjoyable album.

I know you said No N.W.A but any old Eazy-E album is great to listen to while having a few beers.

If your looking for something mindless with good production to get the blood flowing try Lil Jon - Kings of Crunk or Crunk Juice.

"mindless" definitely being the operative word here. Can you seriously recommend crunk in a sane frame of mind?

Giant Panda - Fly School Reunion (brillant, old school, new school...who knows, better then anything J5 has put out over the past few years)
Bigg Jus - Black Mamba Serums (one half of Company Flow, some people don't like it, but I do....beats are crazy, almost as nuts as anything El-P's ever done)
Constructus Corporation - The Ziggurat (wierd South African indie Hip Hop concept album)
Company Flow - Funcrusher Plus (best Rawkus album, by miles...led to the whole Def Jux, indie Hip Hop craze)
Dalek - Absence (Industrial Hip Hop...not for everyone)
    Wu-tang enter the 36 chambers
Everyone should own this album, one of the best Hip Hop albums ever, even if the rest of the Wu collective/solo efforts are hit and miss at the best of times.
