As a current Oz resident i advise any travellers to bring loads of money. LOADS. You'll never have enough.

Bring some warmer clothes for the winters -it does get chilly or else be prepared to buy warmer stuff over here.

Stay in a hostel when you first arrive, booking accom before you come isn't the best idea. You meet loads of people in a hostel, find the best & cheapest pubs and you can get to know the areas of whatever city your basing yourself in first before committing to a lease.

Get hold of a copy of TNT or British Balls magazine when u get here (available in hostels/internet cafes) for info on jobs, accom and news of sport and other random stuff from home.

    Go to Perth.

i'm here a few years, as mentioned bring plenty moeny altough that said i'd Aus$10k saved in bout 11 weeks after i got here i only had 2000 euro coming over which was no where near enough left in a hurry and basically came here to work not to travel striaght off. a good bit of advice is try to live off what you make here week to week i.e dont be using your euro bank card for rent food beer etc try and live off your wages from here for that, that way you'll have pleny money for travelling which you want to.

see as much as you can dont go to bondi first or not at all if you can. any other advice bank phone tax etc feel free to ask
