very crap that alice in chains and stone sour clash with korn, but I've got a plan-a-brewing, watch the entire alice in chains set, run over to korn for around half an hour, then run back over to stone sour for the next half an hour, thats how I'm gonna play this game, (it really has to be a game, because I can't believe Download are serious)

I also find it a lovely coincidence that they decided to post it today, (6/6/06)

wow what a terribly unorganised gig, the **** bands are all playing unconflicted and the bands that people are actually going to see all clash...retarded... and not many people are going to this gig, i hope it doesn't prevent them from doing a bigger one next year because of their ****e organising

it may be slightly helpful for you to know that metallica are now playing Orion in it's entirety, and with a 2 hour and 15 minute setlist, why not!

Anyone see the times for the UK Download? A full-blown festival and it closes up shop at 10pm-ish!

Not too happy about Alice in Chains' set either, they could have easily staggered the bands throughout the afternoon.

I reckon Korn get sacrificed here.......will be interesting to see how many people try to get into the tent for AIC and Stone Sour and miss most of Korn......

Watch first two bands on stage 2, switch over to Avenged Sevenfold on the main stage, come back for Alice in Chains and Stone Sour and then take a wander over for Metallica. Finishing up at 22.15 seems a little early to me, but at least the buses will still be running so ill be happy not having to spend money on a taxi

with Robbie Williams in Croker I'll be hoping Friday certainly sticks to those times, would mean I might be able to get home - having to get back through town would be a nightmare.......

yeah I saw some poor clips on yourtube for the new Metallica song, the link is on Blabbermouth, I liked the music, hope they play it on Sunday would be cool......

It really is an insult to Alice in Chains...those tiny little bands nobody has ever heard of are getting almost as much time as them! Aiken appear to be completely blind that just as much people are there for them as well as are there for Metallica. The tent is bad enough for them to be relegated to..but my god, just over half an hour when Metallica have over two!

Much as I dislike them, I don't think Aiken have any say in this stuff......it's a Download think, they're organisation as far as the bill etc.......

True, Alice in Chains still only get a puny 40 minute set at the UK Download, and they're on the Main Stage.

This was the setlist from arnheim.
5 from Black,none froim R.T.L.,2 from K.E.A. and 1 from AJFA.....a bit stale if you ask me.and i would rather they played so what than whisky(without the guys from a7x)
