WebCam Help?

    Bascially, i got a webcam few weeks ago and it was workin fine. then i started messin around with the contrast and colours, but i was never able to get them back to the original set-up.
    this was wrecking my head so i uninstalled all the software and hardware, as far as i know, to try and re-install in the hope that it would go back to its original set-up.
    Now i have the problem that icant use the camera at all. when i re-installed all the equipment, the computer couldn't detect the device. can anyone help me with this problem?
    Also i registered the camea to my name when i first installed it, is this a problem?

    Web Cam make is HiMail Cam, bought in Game for 15 euro.

    Do a system restore.

    Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore.

    Pick a date before you started having problems.
