A few days ago I took a trip down to Powerscourt to enjoy the sunshine and take a few shots while I'm at it... again with my trusty Canon point and shoot...

I've recently added them to my flickr, they can be viewed here

Most aren't labelled, primarily because I'm terrible with titles...

    C&C welcome

(I'm getting a nice job over the summer so hopefully I'll be able to spring for an SRL :P)

Single lense Reflex camera's are nice ,sometimes point and shoot can leave you with loads of space to be creative though.

Really Nice! The weather was perfect for these pics, wasn't it! Love the one of the leaf actually. With the sun behind it, looks really well!

what camera are you using there? great colour in those shots.

and how did you go to Powerscourt with a camera and not go see the waterfall?!

lol... I'm using a Canon Powershot SD 400 which is the American version of the IXUS 50... it's about the size of a credit card :P . A very nifty little device... none of those shots are edited so I guess I owe the colours to the camera...

And it was mostly a picnic... we went way down into a sort of camping area and got pretty comfortable there... :P we just never got around to seeing the waterfall... next time though :P

here's a pic of it now so no need to bother :)

this was taken with my own point-an-shoot FujiFilm f460 5MP. I really should have got an IXus though, they always seem to produce better colours. It was a toss up between the fuji and an IXUS.

I haven't a clue how to use it properly though. I'll either read up on it or just get a canon... :)
