    OH NO!!!!

I just killed Mrs. Squeeks... or was it Mr. Squeeks? It's hard to tell... But it was accident... you've got to believe me!!!

I was just walking up the stairs and as soon as I put my foot on the first step I felt something squishy... bleh... not pleasent... especially when you consider the fact that I was bare foot.

I'm going to be wracked with guilt all week now... I just know it... I'll have a funeral at some stage tomorrow.... good thing I'm already drinking, so I have a head start on the wake.

Mrs Squeeks is a pet? Or vermin? Finally got rid of my own Mr Squeeks recently. Madam Guillotine would be proud. Rat-trap+mouse=spectacular death

    Oh no... it gets worse...

I came down the stairs this morning and noticed that her body was no longer on the bottom stair.

My first thoughts of course were "THE ZOMBIE MOUSE IS GOING TO GET ME!!!"

But it seems she was just badly injured... she managed to crawl over to the other side of the hallway.

I'm sorry to say I don't have time in my life at the moment to tend for injured vermin... and I really didn't have the heart for a mercy kill... so I placed her gently in the back garden... perhaps some other mice will administer medical care... and the friendly crow Mr. Mocklesby is always there to lend a hand.

Why didn't you bring him/her to A & E of the local hospital and let it die on a trolley like the rest of this nation!!

I'm too scared of MRSA... I've been walking around on a damaged knee for over a week and a half because I'm too scared to go to the hospital...

It'll be interesting to see who's the main beneficiary in Mrs. Squeek's will.

    Very interesting.

She has left behind a rather large horde of cheese.

What kind of cheese? And to whom was it left?

Well technically she's still alive at the moment as far as I know... so she could pull through.

I'll keep you all posted on her status.

I'm pretty sure it was Mr.Squeeks... And I'd watch yourself now, buster - his family's now gonna be on a vendetta against you.

Frankly, I'd skip town. Mice are vindictive b*stards.
Plus in fairness you did kill the head of their household. That's a pretty big deal among vermin.

    What kind of cheese?

Would have to be Swiss cheese if he was living up the the cartoon mouse stereotype

    Where? between your toes?
If there is any "Dubliner" can I have some? I will swop some Tesco low fat slices that the other halp insists I eat!!!

Dubliner is nice (made in Cork, by the way) but I find it always has far to much grit in it.

Too much Ronnie Drew for you?

My favourite is Cotswold (glostashire? and chives)
