    6-9 june
Filmbase, in association with Temple Bar Cultural Trust, present the first ever Temple Bar Film Festival from 6-9 June 2006. A celebration of low budget Irish film, viewers can look forward to seeing 40+ short and feature length films in various Temple Bar venues. Films include contemporary thriller Capital Letters, mad cow zombie flick Dead Meat, and the award-winning short Jellybaby. Tickets and membership are available now from Filmbase.

With a large range of free and low cost events this is surely a great way to start the summer. Festival membership is required by all festival attendees* but at only €1 it won’t break the bank (this includes a free €20 voucher for www.ScreenClick.com). Tickets for events at Meeting House Square are free and tickets for screenings at Filmbase are only €2. Membership and tickets will be available from Filmbase foyer from the 1 June.

    * Festival membership is included in the fee for Filmbase membership so current members are covered.
