Installing Gallery on a Redbrick account

    Hey
I just had mySQL enabled on my account on Redbrick and now I'm trying to install a gallery. So far I have tried uploading the unzipped files to a folder using FTP and also using a program that installs it automatically. Neither worked.
I have tried the How To on Redbrick but I can't get it to work.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
    Kev

Could it be because PHP is installed as a CGI (or something...)

You have to put #!/usr/local/bin/php at the top of each .php file (or at the top of index.php or something... whatever the file you actually call from the URL bar)

Also are your permissions set correctly?

Adding #!/usr/bin/php is probably the most important step. If it still doesn't work, this page should help you: http://wiki.redbrick.dcu.ie/~wiki/mw/Installing_Gallery_On_Redbrick

I think he was hinting at the fact that the Redbrick Helpdesk is there for a reason. :)

Also, use the RB Webboards if you don't like slrn cooker3, Link
