    Is there any free software out there for converting files to PDFs.

    https://createpdf.adobe.com/?v=AHP is one, but you will only have 5 free goes before, well, just before :)

    I always liked http://www.pdf995.com/. It does contain ads, but it is free.

    I use PrimoPDF and "print" to a PDF file.

    pdfcreator / openoffice cover most needs and continually improve. More Free Beer !

    if you have strange applications or having problems with the above also have a look at
    www.dial.de - huge download but includes another free pdf printer
    pdf995 is handy - it's adware, but small, not time limited or watermarked, and if you don't mind it launching an ad in your browser that's fine

    You can pretty much ignore all the other "me too" products, they are overpriced, or watermarked or shareware which you can only use for 30 days.

    Adobe acrobat bundle a printer driver with many products but I'd avoid it until they clear up the licensing of a shared pdf printer or you are happy to pay the license ( love they way they charge by numbers of pages coverted for some of the products )

    No it's not when you have free, ad-free, open-source ones available. :rolleyes:
